SCAD FASH Invitation

This invitation introduces the event’s theme through a child-like play of color, saturation, and orientation of typography to recreate the aesthetic of the dress and echo the motifs used not only on the dress but, heavily, in the Italian/Sicilian culture.

The Dress

The idea behind this particular collection was to highlight Mamma, “the fulcrum of the family” (Vogue 2015) and relay a positive message about the contributions they make to their families. The collection consisted of designs drowned with roses, flower motifs, bold but slightly muted color palettes, and typography that translates as sweet messages to mother
